Frieza is outwardly amused and composed, often responding to threats or unexpected developments with laughter. Beneath this calm demeanor, he is cold, cruel, and quick to punish subordinates who disappoint him. He regards Saiyans as “monkeys” and treats Sack's independence as an entertaining anomaly rather than an immediate equal threat 7 14 26.

He favors manipulation over direct action. Rather than immediately confronting Sack, Frieza leaks information, incites King Vegeta against him, orders Saiyans to eliminate one another, and plans to reap the benefits of their internal conflict 14 26.

After Sack destroys Frieza Force spaceships on a mission planet, Frieza receives reports of his actions but initially dismisses the incident, ordering hidden surveillance instead 5. When Sack heads toward Yardrat, Frieza assumes the planet's powerful inhabitants will destroy the Saiyans and has the personnel who leaked information about Sack's movements executed 7.

Provoking the Saiyans

When Sack's strength surpasses King Vegeta's, Frieza sees an opportunity to create conflict within the Saiyan race. He orders Zarbon to inform King Vegeta about the traitorous Saiyans, intending to provoke a confrontation 14.

After Sack defeats King Vegeta and takes control of Planet Vegeta, Frieza refuses to directly intervene. He instead orders all Saiyans on external missions to return and eliminate Sack, explicitly preferring to let the Saiyans slaughter one another while the Frieza Force benefits from the outcome 26.

Deployment of the Ginyu Force
