Background

Renar served in the Saiyan 37th Combat Squad alongside Sack, Nos, Bardan, and their captain. Before Sack’s rebirth, the original Sack had repeatedly saved her; she followed him on missions and eventually became the squad’s second-strongest member. Her attachment to Sack provoked Nos, who attempted to murder Sack because he believed Renar’s heart belonged to him. 2 3 4

After discovering Sack alive on a mission planet, Renar initially questioned his disappearance and suspected he had been seriously injured rather than abandoned the squad. She destroyed her scouter at Sack’s request, heard his warning that Frieza would destroy Planet Vegeta, and chose to trust him rather than return to the Saiyan force. 4

Renar accompanied Sack through seclusion training, the destruction of Frieza Force spacecraft, the Yardrat heist, and the journey to Namek. Her exposure to Sack’s guidance and Namekian ideas gradually challenged her instinctive Saiyan brutality, though she continued to struggle with impatience and battle-lust. 5 12 14 15

Following her potential unlock on Namek, Renar helped Sack seize control of Planet Vegeta and intimidate its Saiyan army. When Sack became severely weakened while developing an original technique, she managed the planet and later acted as the main combatant in his evacuation plan. 21 24 27 28

She held off thousands of Saiyan warriors to buy time for Sack and more than 150 Saiyan infants to escape. Though overwhelmed and badly injured, she rejoined the survivors and later helped deceive Frieza’s forces. Personality

Renar is fiercely loyal to Sack, whom she calls “Master” and regards as both a mentor and protector. She repeatedly follows his plans despite uncertainty, protects him from former comrades, oversees his treatment while he is incapacitated, and accepts responsibility for the Saiyan survivors when he leaves. 4 23 27 33

Her Saiyan instincts make her proud, aggressive, and quick to seek violence. She is easily provoked by perceived disrespect, particularly from Neil and the Yardrats, and initially favors destroying threats rather than negotiating with them. 11 12 15 16
