Conversation with Old Kai

In the original work, Old Kai was described as possessing the wisdom befitting his age, along with desires stronger than those of the average man.

If one had to put it bluntly, he was basically cut from the same cloth as Master Roshi.

But as an aside, that sort of personality description was actually a portrayal of many middle-aged and elderly men in Japan.

Back to the point.

Even Korin had gained great wisdom after living for so long, let alone a Kai, one of the supreme gods of a universe.

So Son Gohan had no intention of deceiving him. Instead, he spoke honestly. "Lord Kai, I came this time in hopes that you could help us unlock our potential."

Old Kai raised a brow at those words. He began pacing around Son Gohan and Broly.

After a moment, he stopped and said, "You should have some way of unleashing your potential. Show it to me."

As expected of Old Kai. Even without knowing that Saiyans could transform, it was already impressive that he could see through such things.

Son Gohan immediately replied, "Yes. We can stimulate our strength through transformations, allowing for explosive growth."

"Transform and let me see," Old Kai said calmly.

Son Gohan did not mind. With a low shout, golden aura burst forth around him as he transformed into a Super Saiyan.

"This is Super Saiyan."

After saying that, Son Gohan gave another low shout, and crackling energy lightning snakes immediately flickered around his body.

"This is a further transformation beyond Super Saiyan. We call it Super Saiyan 2."

His surging aura spread continuously through the Sacred World of the Kai. Although Shin had experienced it before, he still could not help but marvel at it now.

Then Son Gohan suddenly let out a fierce roar.
