Son Gohan tracked down Babidi, but Dabura’s death awakened Majin Buu, leading Vegeta and Son Goku to fight him on Kino Planet. After Buu absorbed Vegeta and Son Goku, Son Gohan faced him alone and began experimenting with his S-Cells to grow stronger.

• Son Gohan organized the Saiyan Alliance under Paragus and learned from Eliza that the imprisoned Moro had once threatened the universe.
• Babidi recruited Dabura from the Demon Realm and headed for Earth, where Son Gohan joined the Age 774 tournament and found Babidi’s energy collectors.
• Nappa let Yamu and Spopovich drain his energy, allowing Son Gohan and the others to follow them to Babidi’s spaceship.
• Son Gohan captured Babidi, but Dabura’s self-destruction supplied enough energy to awaken Majin Buu, and Vegeta killed Babidi.
• Son Gohan brought Supreme Kai and the others to Kino Planet, where Vegeta fought Buu, revealed a new golden form, and repeatedly failed to stop his regeneration.
• Gray Buu absorbed Fat Buu to become Super Buu, then absorbed Vegeta and took on the form Beo, and Son Goku’s Super Saiyan 3 ran out of strength, and Beo absorbed him too.

After defeating Kid Buu, Son Gohan married Eliza, unlocked his and Broly’s potential, and entered Whis’s training in the Destroyer Realm. He then traveled to Universe 11 to challenge Jiren, whose fellow Pride Troopers gathered to watch their fight.

• Son Gohan defeated Kid Buu by studying his regeneration and annihilating the energy sustaining his cells, then confirmed his death with Shin.
• Son Gohan asked Old Kai to unlock his and Broly’s potential, and Old Kai explained that Broly’s loss of control stemmed from his brain cells weakening during recovery.
• Son Gohan arranged access to the Destroyer Realm and met Whis, who began training Broly and tested Son Gohan’s ability to anticipate his movements.
• Son Gohan developed a way to push his brain and senses beyond their usual limits, sparred with Whis, and agreed to train while doing palace chores.
• After two months of training, Son Gohan told Whis he wanted strength to protect his loved ones and asked to find Jiren, whom his visions showed he was destined to fight.
• Marcarita took Son Gohan to Universe 11, where Jiren defeated a rampaging monster, then accepted Son Gohan’s challenge.
• Belmod arranged a reinforced, uninhabited planet for the fight, where the Pride Troopers gathered as Jiren challenged Son Gohan to make him move even one step.

Son Gohan challenged Jiren, built a Saiyan training program, and became a Saiyan God before testing his new power against Beerus. After Beerus agreed to train Son Goku and Vegeta, Son Gohan stayed on Earth to follow his own path.

• Son Gohan reached Super Saiyan 3 Full Power and fought Jiren with increasingly powerful techniques, but Jiren ultimately defeated him and welcomed a future rematch.
• Son Gohan returned to Universe 7, recruited thousands of Saiyans for training, and chose Tuck as his disciple while organizing Saiyan efforts to stabilize the universe.
• Son Gohan reunited with his family and friends, then prepared for Beerus’s arrival after the God of Destruction awoke and sought the Super Saiyan God.
• Son Goku became a Super Saiyan God through the Saiyan ritual and fought Beerus, mastering divine power before Beerus defeated him and threatened Earth.
• Son Gohan underwent the ritual on Planet Ba, became a Saiyan God, and fought Beerus on Super Dragon Ball Planet before advancing into Super Saiyan Blue.
