There was a fairly long interval between the second and third tasks.
Thanks to the efforts of the M.S.C. members, the Revealing Projection Screens had also been upgraded, replaced from their original small screens with eight enormous ones.
The screens floated above the Quidditch Pitch, ensuring that every spectator could see the images displayed on them.
The screens were clearly divided into four rows and four columns, making sixteen images in total. Each image would follow one Champion.
Once all the Champions had finished drawing lots, Ludo Bagman hurried over to the judges' stand.
He took several deep breaths in succession. Once his breathing had finally steadied, he raised his wand to his throat and cast Sonorus. "Sonorus!"
"Ladies! Gentlemen!" he shouted energetically. "The final task of our Five-Wizard Tournament has finally begun!"
"Let's first review the previous scores!" he said, looking at a sheet of parchment. "First, Hogwarts' Champions: Lovegood, Potter, Malfoy, and Diggory!"
Amid the cheers of the Hogwarts students, he began announcing the exact scores. "The maximum score for the two tasks was one hundred and forty points, and they achieved an excellent score of one hundred and thirty-two!"
"The score should have been higher!" quite a few Hogwarts students muttered, casting looks toward Karkaroff on the judges' stand. "If a certain judge hadn't been deducting points at random..."
Though the students were muttering quietly, with so many voices murmuring at once, the combined sound was still considerable.
When Karkaroff of the judging panel heard it, he could only frown, press his lips together, and shrug without saying a word.
Ludo Bagman continued, "The Hogwarts Champions will be the first to enter the maze! The Beauxbatons Champions will not enter until five minutes later!"
