Hogwarts was especially lively today. Wizet and Luna had barely said goodbye to Xenophilius Lovegood in the Entrance Hall when they ran into a group of reporters and photographers.
Naturally, Rita Skeeter was among those reporters and photographers.
She wore a magenta robe, with even more jewels set into her glasses; gemstones even studded the arms, making her look like an overbearing Fire Crab.
Though she was dressed brilliantly, her expression was full of exhaustion, the shadows around her eyes plainly visible.
"What an unexpected delight..." Her tone was the same as ever. "I received a letter early this morning..."
"I never expected the person mentioned in that letter to appear right before my eyes... So? Shall we find somewhere to sit?"
"Of course!" Wizet nodded, taking Luna's hand as he led the way.
Under ordinary circumstances, getting Wizet to agree to an interview would have been rather difficult;
Yet Rita Skeeter, who should have been thrilled, merely shook her head and let out a long sigh, her weariness impossible to hide;
After shaking her head and sighing, she suddenly straightened her back and gave her shoulders a shake, as though casting that fatigue behind her;
She lifted her chin high, her gaze swiftly regaining its usual sharpness, and called for the photographers to follow Wizet.
The photographers had an easy job. After taking only a few pictures of Wizet, Rita Skeeter dismissed them.
Rita Skeeter had already prepared a set of desks and chairs, inviting Wizet and Luna to sit down.
"Mr. Lovegood, you look very relaxed in today's photographs!" she said, watching Wizet pull out Luna's chair for her.
"Or perhaps I should put it this way... Sunflowers only look especially radiant when the sun comes out?"
Wizet sat down as well, a slight curve touching his lips.
