Upon hearing Madame Maxime's invitation, Wizet instinctively glanced at Luna.
"It was an oversight on my part..." Madame Maxime took it all in, maintaining her smile as she said, "Mr. Lovegood, Miss Lovegood, may I take up some of your time?"
Wizet and Luna were somewhat curious about the unexpected invitation, so they agreed and followed Madame Maxime aboard the carriage.
Beauxbatons' carriage was already enormous, and with the help of the Undetectable Extension Charm, its interior could accommodate even more furnishings.
The inside of the carriage seemed to have been built to hotel standards. Upon entering, they found an elegantly decorated reception hall;
azure and gold tiles covered the floor, while a crystal chandelier overhead cast a warm glow. Classical oil paintings hung on the surrounding walls, depicting famous scenes from France.
To the right of the reception hall was a common room. Like Hogwarts' Great Hall, the common room's domed ceiling had been enchanted, revealing a stretch of blue sky;
the common room was fully furnished with bookcases, sofas, and tables, with an extinguished fireplace standing to one side.
Madame Maxime walked ahead, arriving at the far end of the common room, where a pair of double doors stood.
She bent over slightly, her movement as she entered practiced and restrained.
Beyond the doors was her office.
Everything inside was of normal size. If there was one unusual thing, it was her choice of seating;
whether in the reception area or behind the desk, the seats were all backless stools.
Wizet could not help thinking of Hagrid's hut. When Hagrid furnished his home, he usually chose items suited to his own size;
