Leaving Hagrid's Hut, Wizet instinctively held out his hand, and Luna instinctively placed hers in his palm.
Their fingers naturally interlocked, the movement becoming increasingly familiar.
Luna's voice was somewhat languid. "Do you remember the day school started?"
"Of course I do!" Wizet nodded. "It rained so hard that day! But the weather is wonderful today."
A pure azure blue spread across the sky, without even a wisp of thin cloud in sight, so clear it seemed possible to see where the heavens ended.
It was still morning, and sunlight gently spilled over the grass. Dewdrops glimmered among the blades, while the air carried the fresh scent of earth and greenery.
Wizet and Luna walked side by side across the emerald lawn. Even though holding hands had become second nature to them, the flutter that travelled from their fingertips into their hearts had not faded in the slightest.
"Wizet, do you think..." Luna asked airily, "that I was a little too vague?"
"How could you be?" Feeling the softness of Luna's fingers, Wizet shook his head. "I think Teacher Luna put it especially well!"
"Hagrid is a very straightforward person. Some things only need to be explained in ways he can understand. If we said too much..."
"From Madame Maxime's perspective, she might instead notice something. So what Teacher Luna said was exactly right."
A lovely curve formed at Luna's lips, and she could not help but laugh. "Then I still have to thank Teacher Wizet for giving me the opportunity."
"Actually, I didn't know what to say at the time," Wizet admitted. "I'm very grateful for Teacher Luna's help!"
