"Badger?" Michael Corner's mouth fell open. "Anthony, are you really describing your own cousin-grandfather like that?"

Badgers were rarely seen in Europe. Michael had only learned of this "most fearless" animal after an exchange with Uagadou.

"Ahem, that was how his friends described him." Anthony Goldstein raised both hands, extending his index and middle fingers in an air-quotes gesture. "I'm only repeating it."

His words reminded everyone else in the compartment. Michael and Chris Moen also turned to Anthony, their eyes gleaming with interest in strange tales.

"You should know that everything I'm about to say is actually made up..." Anthony leaned forward, grabbed the sliding door's handle, and shoved it shut.

He gripped the handle and gave it another hard push, only lowering his voice after making sure the door was completely closed. "Whatever you do, don't spread this around!"

Wizet and Luna nodded. "We won't!"

Terry said, "Have we ever spread around any of the things you told us before?"

"Yeah!" Michael nodded. "Otherwise, your nickname would be... Newt Scamander's cousin-grandson!"

"You're the one who talks too much!" Anthony shot Michael a glare. "My cousin-grandfather went to the French Ministry of Magic because Gellert Grindelwald set him up."

"Gellert Grindelwald set up plenty of people. Almost every wizard in France at the time got caught in his scheme and ended up heading to Père Lachaise Cemetery."

"The 'Père Lachaise Cemetery Incident'!" Terry realized. "I know about that! I have to say, Gellert Grindelwald was incredible!"

"Well, that was Gellert Grindelwald!" Anthony replied as if it were obvious. "My cousin-grandfather was wanted at the time. He'd already been discovered
