"Getting the head of the Department of Magical Law Enforcement to help buy tickets..." Fred whistled. "Wizet, that's so you!"
"Yeah! I wonder what Percy's expression will be when he finds out?" George rested his chin in both hands and deliberately said in a dreamy voice, "Suddenly, I want to write him a letter!"
"We still need to write Percy a letter?" Ron sounded puzzled. "Before we left, didn't he tell us..."
"Ronald, you're the man!" Fred caught on and cut Ron off. "Now that you mention it, you've reminded me!"
He got to his feet, puffed out his chest, and tipped up his chin, his lips pressed tightly together in an expression both stern and proud.
Before he could say anything, Harry, Ron, and Neville were already struggling not to laugh, their faces red and cheeks puffed out.
As Gryffindor students, they knew that expression George was wearing all too well. He was clearly imitating Percy.
"Don't count me in! In a few days, I'll be going with Mr. Crouch..." Fred deliberately drew out the words "Mr. Crouch," giving them an extra touch of gravitas, "...to Paris!"
"That wasn't quite right. You're still missing something!" George stood up as well, puffing out his chest and tipping up his chin in the same pose as Fred.
"Fred, you have to do it like this!" He spread his arms as though delivering some grand speech. "Going to Paris together!"
"Get it? You need to raise your pitch! You need that feeling of having just saved London, and now moving on to save 'Paris'!" He deliberately stretched out the word "Paris."
"Going to Paris..." Fred furrowed his brows and repeated it with exaggerated seriousness, deliberately raising his pitch. "Is that better?"
Still holding Percy's pose, George gave his assessment with equal seriousness.
