Sebastian Saru's guess had been right. After Dean, Zabini, and the others searched the ruined manor, they found that the massive explosion of the ritual magic array had indeed left nothing behind.
As they left the ruins, Selina Pendragon could not help feeling disappointed. She let out a long sigh. "If it hadn't exploded, there should have been plenty of good stuff left..."
"Think about it... they used that ritual magic array to summon 'My Lord' directly. They must have paid a huge price! There probably would have been loads of things left over, too!"
"Then you could also think about..." Sebastian Saru picked up where she left off. "What might have happened if there hadn't been that massive explosion, and 'My Lord' had launched a few more attacks."
"There are no 'ifs' now. The fact is, we won a sweeping victory!" Selina Pendragon retorted. "It's not really about the loot..."
She paused and glanced at Wizet. "It's just that Wizet finally came along with us, but ended up getting nothing out of it. I feel a little bad about that!"
"If you'd said that sooner, I would've understood." Sebastian Saru nodded in agreement. "Looking out for Wizet is a perfectly good reason."
"Please don't say that!" Wizet hurriedly said. He opened his notebook to show Selina Pendragon and the others. "I actually gained a lot! Look!"
Selina Pendragon narrowed her eyes, first looking at the large circle at the top, then scanning the densely packed writing below it. The sight made her head spin.
"What did you write here?" She shook her head. "I thought Dumbledore had contacted you again and you were discussing something with him!"
"No..." Wizet said. "Headmaster Dumbledore told me he'd be rather busy over the next few days."
