"You think..." Luna asked softly, "we'll be found out?"
"The answer always requires exploration and practice..." Wizet said. "If we are found out, I actually have another plan..."
He did not finish his sentence. He merely lowered Luna's small hands and enclosed them in his own, gently stroking them back and forth as though he were holding some rare, fragile treasure.
Luna pressed her lips together slightly. Wizet's palms were warm, like the mild sunshine of early spring. The cozy warmth made her somewhat sleepy; she even wanted to close her eyes and stop thinking about anything.
Wizet's expression was especially focused at that moment. Luna's fair hands seemed weightless, yet extraordinarily real. Not even the softest cotton batting could give him this feeling.
