"Ha ha! Exactly!"
A booming, hearty laugh rang out as the Hufflepuff ghost, the Fat Friar, floated down as well. "I completely agree with Nick. His knowledge of the castle is indeed far more secure than his head!"
"Yes! That's exactly it!" Nearly Headless Nick burst into loud laughter. "You understand me after all..."
His laughter gradually died away when he noticed that the faces of the "Educational Investigators" were full of bewilderment and embarrassment. Clearly, they had yet to recover from his earlier "performance."
Noticing the awkward expressions on the "Educational Investigators'" faces, his laughter came to a stop as well.
The Bloody Baron and the Grey Lady had not said a word the entire time. With the atmosphere having turned out like this, they silently floated away.
"Oh..." The Fat Friar sighed softly, rubbing his hands together as he looked around, seemingly trying to find another topic to ease the tension.
"They're all very welcoming, aren't they?" Luna's voice carried a gentle smile. "I've watched some Muggle films. The ghosts in those tend to be quite vicious, and they even want to hurt people."
Nearly Headless Nick's eyes lit up, and he hurriedly followed Luna's lead. "There are really such things? Real ghosts would never hurt anyone!"
Wizet addressed the "Educational Investigators" at just the right moment. "Everyone, I believe the Sorting Ceremony is about to begin. Why don't we head into the Great Hall first?"
"That's right! That's right!" The Fat Friar said with visible relief, eagerly leading the way. "This way, please! The welcome feast after the Sorting Ceremony is the main event. The roast chicken and Yorkshire pudding won't wait!"
Wizet and Luna arrived at the Ravenclaw table. The moment they sat down, Anthony Goldstein and the others immediately gathered around them.
"Wizet, look!"
