The "Goyle" Draco had mentioned was Gregory Goyle in full.
He was Draco's friend. Wizet did not know much about him, but from the phrase "eating beside the cauldron," he could guess what had happened.
"So..." Wizet raised his eyes slightly. "While he was eating, food scraps fell into the cauldron and caused the potion to fail?"
"Y-yes!" Draco's voice was a little lower than before, as though he were suppressing a laugh. "More precisely, it was jam and biscuit crumbs..."
"Professor Snape was in the common room at the time as well. After analyzing it, he determined that the potion had failed because Goyle was too greedy."
"So Professor Snape punished him..." Draco recalled. "For the past few days, Goyle has had to serve detention during his free time."
"Detention?" Wizet blinked. "It seems Professor Snape was indeed very angry..."
"Yeah!" Draco nodded in agreement. "I haven't seen him that angry in ages..."
He glanced toward the Great Hall. "Wizet, I'll be going now... I still need to bring Goyle something to eat, so he doesn't mess around again in Potions Class this afternoon."
After parting with Draco, Wizet and Luna continued along their original route, strolling leisurely toward the common room.
As they climbed the moving staircase, Wizet could no longer suppress his curiosity. He made the parchment float up, intending to see what exactly was written inside.
With Luna holding his hand anyway, he did not need to worry about bumping into anything even if he became too absorbed in the contents.
What met his eyes was a passage written in a style that was distinctly Snape.
