Prime Minister Major did not hesitate in the slightest. Mimicking Wizet's way of casting, he spoke the incantation for the Illumination Spell.
"It worked!" Seeing the ball of light appear before him, a sincere smile spread across his face, utterly pure and free of any impurity.
"Mr. Lovegood!" Seeming to think of something, he looked at Wizet and asked, "Can I also... make it... um... different?"
"Of course!" Wizet nodded. "When you cast the spell, try to focus and imagine a sufficiently specific ball of light. Magic will respond to you."
"I'll try! I'll try!" Prime Minister Major nodded, his brow knitting slightly as his expression turned focused. All his attention was fixed on the wand in his hand.
Wizet said to Dumbledore and Amelia Bones, "Headmaster Dumbledore, Minister Bones, there are still others who need my help. I'll go over first!"
Watching Wizet's retreating figure, Amelia Bones took a deep breath, her eyes filled with a touch of emotion.
She quickly composed herself and turned to Dumbledore. "Albus, everything that happened today..."
Even without Amelia Bones finishing her sentence, Dumbledore knew what she wanted to ask.
"Of course not..." He gently shook his head. "This wasn't some script we planned in advance, meant to give you... or rather, all of you, a surprise."
Hearing Dumbledore say this, Amelia Bones immediately denied it. "Albus, I never considered that possibility. Please don't misunderstand."
Dumbledore continued, "Actually, we didn't want things to reach this point either. After all, it is a holiday. Whether students, professors, or headmasters, everyone ought to have some time for their own affairs, shouldn't they?"
