Kingsley Shacklebolt did not act immediately. Instead, he said to Snape, "Professor Snape, this is a necessary part of Auror procedure. I hope you can understand."

Snape narrowed his eyes slightly, his gaze falling on Barty Crouch Sr.'s stern face. His tone carried a touch more mockery. "Of course I understand! In fact... I witnessed it many years ago."

Kingsley Shacklebolt held his own wand in one hand and Snape's wand in the other, pressing their tips together. "Prior Incantato!"

A faint magical ripple and a weak glow appeared at the tip of Snape's wand.

"That was the Leg-Locker Curse." Kingsley Shacklebolt identified the spell, then continued casting the Flashback Charm on Snape's wand. "Prior Incantato!"

Throughout the process, Barty Crouch Sr. kept his wand in hand. His gaze never fell upon Barty Crouch Jr.; instead, he continued scrutinizing Snape.

Once the two Aurors had completed their magical examination, they rose and approached Barty Crouch Sr.

One of the Aurors reported, "Director, we found residual effects of the following spells on the suspect..."

The other Auror handed over a parchment scroll. "We have recorded the names of those spells on it."

"Thank you for your hard work." Barty Crouch Sr. nodded before taking the parchment.

The two Aurors naturally raised their wands, taking over from Barty Crouch Sr. in keeping watch over Snape.

Snape was not at all surprised by this. A clear sneer appeared on his face as he leaned back casually and folded his arms across his chest, waiting for the questioning to come.

He knew perfectly well that, even now, Voldemort's "Eye of Heaven" was still monitoring him.

Therefore, what he needed to do most at this moment was display his abilities under the Eye of Heaven's watch, so that he could maintain his true identity.
