Watching Luna's retreating back, Ron scratched his head and asked in a puzzled tone, "Hermione, why did you suddenly change your mind?"

It had only just happened, after all, and he remembered it clearly. When he and Harry had been hemming and hawing, unsure how to bring it up, Hermione had wanted to ask that question directly.

Harry gave a small cough, silently agreeing with Ron.
