"Dad! Mum! We're here!" Fred and George answered in unison, still wearing their usual mischievous grins.
Their robes had been burned full of holes, and their faces were streaked with soot. They waved their arms exaggeratedly as they slowly descended.
"Fred! George!" The Weasley children all cried out, their faces full of disbelief.
"We're here!" Fred and George landed steadily. Noticing the expressions on their brothers' and sister's faces, they raised their brows and asked, "What's with those looks? Don't want us back? Shall we leave, then?"
"Fred! George!" Mrs. Weasley's familiar scolding rang out. "How could you speak like that?"
Seeing Mrs. Weasley rapidly approaching, still looking fierce, Fred and George panicked a little. They waved their hands, trying to explain themselves. "Mum, we were only joking—"
Before they could finish, Mrs. Weasley had already pulled them into her arms, her voice trembling with barely concealed sobs. "You little brats! You scared me to death!"
Arthur Weasley also stepped forward and opened his arms, wrapping all three of them in an embrace.
"Dad... Mum..." Feeling their parents' embrace and hearing the tears in Mrs. Weasley's voice, Fred and George's voices trembled slightly.
They both looked up at the same time and saw the redness in each other's eyes.
"Oh!" They immediately began mocking each other. "You're actually crying! How ridiculous!"
The Weasley children gathered around. Seeing the twins make the exact same movements and hearing them speak in unison, they could not help laughing.
Voldemort had not yet been defeated, but after confirming that Fred and George were safe, everyone quickly regained their composure.
Percy could not help asking, "What exactly happened just now?"
Before Fred and George could speak, Mrs. Weasley seemed to anticipate something. She raised a finger and stressed, "No joking! Tell me properly! And be
