They had clearly crossed half the world and gone through so much, yet when they returned here, it felt as though they had returned to the past, to when they had still been students.
Back then, they would often appear in the castle late at night like this, carrying little thoughts only the two of them understood as they walked carefully through its halls, feeling their racing hearts.
They followed their familiar route, peeking into every classroom they passed.
When they entered one classroom piled with junk, they heard a bang from the direction of a cabinet. The Boggart inside was trying to scare them.
When they approached another spare classroom, Wizet and Luna heard Peeves singing inside and scribbling recklessly across the blackboard.
Peeves immediately spotted them and looked thrilled, his mouth stretching almost to his ears in a truly sinister grin.
He flew above Wizet and Luna, cackling as he asked whether they wanted to draw something too.
