Inside the Astronomy Tower, Luna leaned against Wizet's chest, lowering her head to play with her necklace. She stroked the pendant where hazy starlight swirled, unable to hide the smile at the corners of her lips.
Wizet looked down at Luna. Seeing how delighted she was, he felt his own heart soften along with hers.
To him, as long as Luna liked it, anything was worth doing.
He blinked, as if something had occurred to him. "Do you like it?"
"Of course I do!" Luna answered without the slightest hesitation. The hazy starlight within the pendant was nowhere near as captivating as Wizet's voice.
She raised her head and pecked the corner of Wizet's lips. "No matter what it is, as long as it comes from you, I like it!"
Looking at Luna's cheeks, Wizet could not hold back. He bent down and kissed her collarbone.
"There must be a smell, right?" Feeling the tickle at her neck, Luna could not help giggling as she curled up slightly. "We ran all the way up here just now!"
"But no matter what it is..." Wizet blinked. "As long as it comes from you, I like it!"
He pulled Luna closer, lowered his head, and lightly kissed her collarbone. From there, he kissed up to her pale neck, from her neck to her flushed ears, then drew her soft, springy earlobe into his mouth and savored it carefully.
Scalded weak by his warm breath, Luna felt as though she were about to melt. She could only cling to him more dependently, allowing that heat to surround her bit by bit.
The shy sky drew up the curtain of night to hide itself. Only the twinkling stars secretly watched them nestle together.
