"Bad ideas?" Luna blinked. "But with all those magical protections, your 'bad ideas' should... not work at all, right?"
"Who said that?" Wizet smoothly flipped over, switching positions as he moved above Luna.
He looked down at Luna. Moonlight slipped through the window and spilled across her face, while her bright eyes looked like stars in the sky.
"Even without magic... there are still plenty of 'bad ideas' we can try..." His voice dropped even lower, and he deliberately emphasized the words "bad ideas."
He lowered his head, giving Luna no chance to speak.
Feeling the breath brush past the tip of her nose, Luna felt as though she were bathing in a warm sea—passionate and vast, seemingly endless, its warmth and moisture spreading from their lips throughout her body.
As if the tide had receded, Wizet adjusted his position and pulled back slightly, resting his forehead against Luna's. Both of them were breathing somewhat unevenly.
The room held nothing but the sound of their interwoven breaths and their pounding heartbeats.
Wizet brushed aside the strands of hair scattered across Luna's face and said softly, "Actually, after we talked about your family, Mr. Lovegood told me something else."
"What else did he say?" Luna asked curiously. "Did he ask you more questions?"
"No. He blessed us, and I made him a promise."
"What promise?"
"I said... I would always stay by your side. Even on a night like this, I didn't want you to be alone."
Wizet's tone remained gentle, like a breeze stirring ripples across Luna's heart.
Luna raised her hand and pinched Wizet's cheek. "So... you're not planning to leave tonight?"
"Mm-hmm! I'm not leaving!" Wizet answered with a serious expression, sounding completely justified. "I'm going to fulfill my promise."
Seeing Wizet like this, Luna couldn't help laughing.
