After becoming a Chaser for the Ravenclaw team, Wizet returned to the dormitory at once to write a letter, sharing the good news with Luna.
Even in Ravenclaw, where studying was highly valued, topics related to Quidditch could still spark heated discussion.
Captain Arsenal, who was preparing for his N.E.W.T. exams, was not in the common room. With their target gone, everyone caught hold of Vice-Captain Roger instead, surrounding him on all sides as they tried to find out the exact team roster.
"Aside from me and Arsenal, everyone else is new. You all know that too—a lot of people graduated last year..."
"Next is second-year Cho Chang. She's the Seeker, with a very solid foundation and quick reflexes. And also... Wizet! Come on, come on! Say hello to everyone!"
Wizet, who had just come downstairs, was spotted by Roger just like that and called over in front of everyone.
Roger wrapped an arm around Wizet's shoulder and raised his voice as he introduced him. "A top-tier Chaser! Even I feel ashamed of my own inferiority!"
"Even Arsenal didn't react in time. You can look forward to Quidditch this year! We really have a chance at winning the championship!"
With that introduction, Wizet could be considered somewhat famous within the House.
Ravenclaw's Quidditch results had been less than ideal, leaving quite a few upper-year students holding their breath in frustration.
Now that they had finally gotten Roger's guarantee, they wanted to offer Wizet some practical help, so that he could focus his energy on training.
Wizet did not refuse their help. From those upper-year students, he received quite a few useful notes and personal insights.
This was also why he liked Ravenclaw. The students here all liked taking notes, and these notes, filled with personal thoughts, made very good study samples.
Relying on the study and summarization methods he had mastered in his previous life, he could sort through different notes on the same magic and organize a set of insights that belonged solely to him.
Take the Healing Charm that Wizet had just learned, for example. This magic functioned much like a bandage, helping ordinary wounds heal quickly.
Soreness left after exercise could likewise be eased with the Healing Charm, making it very useful in daily life.
After summarizing four sets of notes, he gained his own understanding of how to cast the Healing Charm.
He thought of doctors' instructions from his previous life. Doctors would tell patients to relax their bodies and minds, so that their illnesses would improve faster.
That instruction could be applied to magic. Keeping himself in a relaxed state of mind made it easier to cast the Healing Charm.
"Heal as before!"
Wizet engraved that insight in his heart. Along with the incantation, a cluster of emerald-green light emerged from the tip of his wand.
The light enveloped his wrist, creating a sensation like a warm compress, and the soreness caused by throwing the Quaffle instantly vanished.
"You learn way too fast." Penelope once again began doubting life. "Back then, to master this magic, I spent the entire weekend on it..."
"If it weren't for your notes, I wouldn't have mastered it so quickly either," Wizet said at once. "I was just lucky enough to stand on the shoulders of giants."
"I'm still very happy to hear you say that." Penelope's mood improved considerably, and she threw herself back into revision.
Wizet did not stay idle either. In order to keep practicing the Healing Charm, he set his sights on the other Quidditch players. If he could catch one and treat them, that counted as one.
Early the next morning, before Wizet even entered the Great Hall, Fred and George blocked him at the entrance.
"Heard you became a Chaser?"
"Why not consider Seeker? I want to see you and Harry go head-to-head!"
Wizet asked, "Was it Wood who told you?"
Fred shook his head. "Of course not! Wood would never say that. All he does is make tactics..."
"The kind of tactics that could work us to death," George picked up. "He sat in front of the fireplace all night, making a plan as thick as A History of Magic!"
"Yes! It was terrifying!" Fred shuddered. "One hundred push-ups, one hundred sit-ups, one hundred squats, and a ten-mile run..."
"And most importantly!" George's expression suddenly turned very grave. "In winter, we're not allowed to wear thick clothes. We have to use willpower to fight the bitter cold. He's already gone mad! Our hair will freeze off!"
The twins' clowning around made Wizet unable to resist adding, "Don't worry! I just learned the Healing Charm. I can use it to resuscitate you."
"Ah! That's wonderful!" Fred gave a strange cry. "If I'm about to die in the future, you must remember to save me!"
George answered the earlier question. "If you want to know certain news, your best bet is to find Hufflepuff. Their information is always the fastest!"
"I will!" Wizet smiled and nodded.
His life remained regular. After finishing breakfast, he came to the library and continued studying Theory of Metamorphic Transfiguration.
At some unknown point, Ron's faint voice drifted into his ear. "Wizet, have you finished your homework?"
Wizet raised his head. "I finished it the night before last. Did I miss something in my notes? If you need anything, you can ask me."
Ron said to Harry beside him, "See? This is how he's different from Hermione."
Harry glanced at Madam Pince in the distance and nodded repeatedly in agreement.
Wizet, on the other hand, was a little unable to grasp why they had come. "Did something happen?"
Harry nodded at once. "That's right! Our heads are full of that monster, and we can't get any homework done at all."
"Monster? Homework?" Wizet grew even more confused.
Harry and Ron opened the floodgates and poured out everything they had encountered over the past few days.
Malfoy had challenged Harry to a midnight wizard's duel. Harry and Ron, their blood up, had slipped out of the common room at night to attend the appointment, and along the way they had even run into Hermione and Neville.
In reality, that midnight duel was a lie. Not only had Malfoy not shown up, he had even gone to Filch to report them, intending to make them violate school rules.
While frantically hiding from Filch, the four of them barged into the forbidden area Dumbledore had mentioned and encountered a Three-headed Dog as big as a house.
Wizet frowned. "A Three-headed Dog? Guarding a Trapdoor?"
"That's right!" Harry quickly nodded. "Do you know about Gringotts being broken into? It must be guarding that package—the one I went with Hagrid to pick up!"
Wizet said, "I don't think this is something you should be handling. After all, Headmaster Dumbledore said that area was forbidden."
"So we came to borrow homework..." Harry said with a bitter look. "Finishing the assignment is what matters most. I don't want to be sneered at by Snape!"
Ron chimed in from the side, "Hermione wouldn't lend hers to us, so we could only come to you."
"Copying homework isn't good behavior." Wizet raised an eyebrow. "With Professor Snape's ability, if you copied mine, he'd probably see through it at a glance, wouldn't he?"
"Since even you say that..." Ron quickly pressed, "then what should we do?"
Wizet gave the directions with practiced ease. "Go to the Newspaper Section and find the seventh issue of Practical Potions Master from 1986. Read it, then summarize the contents. That should help you finish the assignment."
