Harry immediately understood what Sirius Black meant. Thinking of the form Voldemort had taken when he encountered him, he could not help but laugh.

He tried hard to hold back his laughter, speaking in fits and starts. "Voldemort... so even back then... he was already bald?"

"That shows how cautious he is." Remus Lupin lowered his voice. "For anyone to use Polyjuice Potion to take on his appearance... that would be impossible... cough, cough, cough..."

Hearing Lupin cough, the amusement in Sirius Black's voice became even more obvious. "That... didn't sound like acting!"

Kreacher shook his head. "Can't get through..."

"It seems that perhaps two people is the limit," Dumbledore said. "But we cannot rule out... that this is a means Voldemort devised to divide us."

"After all, we cannot be sure whether the island in the middle of the lake has this restriction, or whether some restriction Voldemort placed here was triggered the moment we entered."
