Time rewound to just before the werewolf riot was about to erupt. Bertha Jorkins, possessed by Voldemort, was calculating the timing.

Just as Fenrir Greyback's body began to tremble, claws sprouted from his fingers, and fur burst through his skin, he rose to his feet and became one of the first spectators to leave the viewing area.

Voldemort guided Bertha Jorkins around a corridor. A Disillusionment Charm already covered her body, allowing him to head calmly toward the storage room.

Hearing the commotion outside, the staff all drew their wands and ran toward the viewing area, following the noise.

Voldemort moved as though the place were deserted. He climbed a staircase, crossed another corridor, and repeated the process several times before finally arriving before a bronze door.

"Heh heh..." Voldemort let out a cold laugh and controlled Bertha Jorkins as she raised her wand. A deep dark-green light burst from its tip, completely enveloping the bronze door.

The bronze door seemed to age in an instant, becoming like a crumbling old wall. Voldemort merely had Bertha Jorkins wave her wand, and the bronze door was easily knocked down.

The only notable thing was that the hand Bertha Jorkins held her wand in was now bulging with veins, looking as grotesque as a centipede.

Like weathered stone, the bronze door shattered into powder as it fell, kicking up a vast cloud of dust.

Ignoring the swirling dust, Voldemort guided Bertha Jorkins inside and headed straight for the long table in the room.

The table held the prizes for the dueling champion, including an egg from a magical creature.

The shell of the egg was exceedingly unusual, with a hazy, dreamlike quality to it, shimmering in a lovely white-purple hue.

Voldemort's objective was clear. He controlled Bertha Jorkins to raise her wand
