As March arrived in the Scottish Highlands, the distant mountains gradually shed winter's chill, though their peaks remained blanketed in snow.
Dawn was just breaking, and the damp air slowly freshened, carrying the scent of the earth awakening;
Following the path toward the Forbidden Forest, one could see trees that had slept through the entire winter quietly stretching out new buds from their branches, their tender green especially vivid.
Even the Forbidden Forest had come back to life. After changing out of their heavy clothes, the students moved much more nimbly—and found it even harder to sit still.
Yet Fred and George, who should have been the least able to sit still, had actually returned to the Mystic Corridor and were even waving their wands to clean it of their own accord.
Their cleaning method was rather strange, though. They crouched down and cast cleaning spells every meter or two;
After gathering dust and scraps into little piles, they did not clear them away with a Vanishing Spell. Instead, they summoned glowing orbs with the Illumination Spell and searched through the piles with focused expressions.
Such odd behavior naturally caught Luna, Neville, and Hannah's attention.
When the twins cleaned their way over to them, Luna tilted her head and asked, "Fred, George, are you looking for our help?"
Having finished searching, Fred and George waved their wands to make the pile vanish. They looked at Luna and nodded. "We really are looking for your help!"
The two gathered another small pile of rubbish and began searching through it again.
This time, Luna, Neville, and Hannah saw more clearly that what Fred and George were looking for in the rubbish piles was hair.
"George..." Neville asked, "What do you need hair for?"
Hannah thought of a possibility. "Are you going to
