The arc ended with Qing Mo explaining how the Black Tortoise Gate succession system sustained the Tang Dynasty and bargaining with Li Shimin for a future plan.

• Qin Qiong and Hou Junji defeated Goguryeo’s relief force, and Li Shimin ordered the assault on Liaodong City, which Tang troops captured after blasting through its defenses.
• Li Shimin’s army surrounded and captured Goguryeo’s capital, while Qing Mo secretly arranged for Xue Rengui to eliminate the escaped king.

Qing Mo left the Tang Dynasty and traveled with his companions through the Sky Jade Divine Domain, destroying hostile families and helping the Gu siblings rebuild their lives. Su Ruizhi finally caught up with the group and learned that Qing Mo’s master, Wan Tianjue, was alive.

• Qing Mo ensured the Imperial Heirloom Seal would remain in China, helped Li Shimin prepare for his death beyond China’s borders, and later left the Tang Dynasty with his companions.
• Qing Mo rescued Feng Shayan from an Eerie Parasite, then his group killed the Gao Family forces and destroyed the Gao and Wang Families after they attacked them.
• Qing Mo agreed to help the Bai Family against the Gao Family, won his desired item at auction, and his companions defeated the Gao Family while Yun Zhiyi fought Dong Qingyou.
• Qing Mo met the Gu siblings, learned their family had been destroyed by five families, and helped them destroy those families before training them in the Frostcold Lands.

In Great Xia, he revived Qin Mo and began forcing the Gu Family to answer for years of abuse, leaving them under his rules as he prepared to take control of the Gu Group.
