Qing Mo left the Morning Cloud Sect after feeding its elders and disciples, then helped his companions settle old grudges and pursued new adventures across a deadland and a ghost-haunted world. The stretch ended with Qing Mo and Ning Caichen meeting Fu Qingfeng and Fu Yuechi, who sought help rescuing their father, Fu Tianchou.

• Qing Mo cooked for the Morning Cloud Sect, won a cooking contest against Du Shengcai, and prepared a lavish birthday banquet for the Supreme Elder before leaving with Ren Tianye and Mo Wangshu.
• Qing Mo reunited with Liu Yurou, helped her fend off Xiao Miao, and took his group to Martial City, where Ren Tianye and the four little ones avenged their followers against the Wei Family.
• Qing Mo led his companions into the White Rosy Cloud Deadland to retrieve the Bone-Rotting Flower, then exposed the pursuers’ crimes and summoned the Heavenly Dao to condemn their forces.

• Qing Mo helped defeat Pudu Cihang, then parted from Ning Caichen, Fu Qingfeng, and their companions as their lives continued without him.
• Qing Mo returned to Lanruo Temple, where Shi Fang, Yan Chixia, and Master Baiyun fought the Tree Demon Matriarch and Black Mountain Demon, while Xiao Die and Xiao Zhuo found peace with their pasts.
