Aisha's POV:

One year later

Before I knew it, Lara had already been living with us for a year.

At first, I thought she was just a strange child staying here temporarily.

After all, she had appeared out of nowhere and claimed to be from another world.

She had no identification, no parents, and did not even know what a television was.

But after a year had passed, I had completely grown used to her presence.

Sometimes, I even felt like it would be strange if she suddenly were not around.

Most of the time, Lara stayed home with me.

When I drew manga, she would pull over a chair, rest her chin in her hands, sit quietly beside me, and watch me draw.

"Summer Mama."

"Hmm?"

"This person is so pretty~ Will she be Dad's wife too?"

"She will not~"

"Why not? I recently learned how to use the internet. Manga with beautifully drawn characters who do not end up with the protagonist usually get criticized horribly."

"I can just make her a tragic character~ Everyone likes innocent girls."

"Summer Mama, you are so mean..."

"There have to be some pretty supporting characters. Otherwise, how could your dad's innocence stand out!"

"Can someone with five wives still be called innocent?"

"In the manga, your dad fell in love with those girls because they saved him or he saved them. And he only loves them, so that is already very innocent."

"Oh~ That is true!"

"Right?"

"But Summer Mama, why have you still not decided on names for these characters? Other than Aisha, you have not settled on any of them."

"I have not published it yet anyway. I can decide later."

"Okay."

Sometimes, when she got bored of watching, she would go watch television.
