Protagonist's POV:

On Qixi Festival, I had just gotten home from work and opened the door when I saw Aisha already changed and waiting for me in the entryway.

"Big brother~"

She smiled and walked toward me.

"Quick, quick! We're going on a date!"

"In such a hurry? Let me take a shower first?"

She linked her arm through mine.

I glanced at the time.

"Where's Lara? What's she having for dinner?"

"Lara will order takeout!"

And so, we left the house together.

There were far more people on the streets than usual, with couples everywhere.

Qixi Festival decorations hung along both sides of the street.

Aisha kept her arm linked with mine, just like always.

But for some reason, I felt like she was especially happy today.

We had spent Qixi Festival together before, so why was she this happy today?

"Aisha."

"You seem to be in a really good mood today."

"Do I?"

"Yeah."

She looked up at me, the smile on her face noticeably brighter than usual.

"Because it's Qixi Festival!"

"Just because of that?"

"Of course."

After saying that, she gently leaned against me again.

I smiled.

"Then let's have a good time today."

"Mm!"

Our first stop was a restaurant.

I had reserved a window seat in advance.

There were candles on the table, and the restaurant lighting had been dimmed.

It really did feel like Qixi Festival.

Aisha sat across from me with her face resting in her hands, staring at me the whole time.
