Ultimately, all the Locator could do was indicate a general direction. It might be in some forest or valley along the way, and as the search area gradually narrowed, things were bound to grow more troublesome.
Still, having a direction was far better than searching for a needle in a haystack.
With everything calm in Sharia, Hitogami showing no signs of activity, and Orsted nowhere to be found, staying here meant little more than polishing her swordsmanship every day. She might as well use this quiet spell to retrieve the remaining pieces of the Fighting God Armor.
That would keep them from falling into the hands of someone with ulterior motives and causing needless trouble.

Hilde tucked the Locator into her clothes and murmured to herself.

In her room in the Research Building, Hilde lit the fireplace to drive away the chill.
In the bedroom, Nanahoshi lay on her stomach on the bed in thin pajamas, swinging her small, smooth feet as she studied the documents she had brought back from the Floating Fortress. The bedside light fell over her, lending a shimmering glow to her smooth, freshly bathed skin.
A cup of sleep-promoting black tea sat on the nightstand.
Every so often, Nanahoshi picked up the cup for a small sip, then returned to the documents.
When Hilde returned to the bedroom and saw this, she somehow felt as though she had come home to a cozy family life. She couldn't help giving a wry smile.
"What are you reading that's got you so absorbed?"
Hilde took off her pajamas, lifted the covers, and climbed into bed.
