Background / History

Yu God Palace was the sole supreme cultivation force in the Great Xia Dynasty. Unlike Yan Kingdom's competing Five Great Sects, Great Xia's other cultivation forces were its vassals. Its authority rested on a Nascent Soul True Lord, making it vastly stronger than the Golden Core sects of Yan Kingdom. 134

By the time Murong Long forged a complete Martial Dao Golden Body, the palace had already begun suppressing the rise of Martial Dao. A Yu God Palace Daoist arrived under the True Lord's decree, demanded that Murong Long accept a divine-soul restriction and surrender his Martial Dao Luck, then killed him after he refused. 134 135

The same envoy compelled the Five Great Sects of Yan Kingdom to cooperate in constructing a teleportation array for an extraterrestrial world captured by the True Lord. 135

Martial Slaughter Order

Yu God Palace later issued a Martial Slaughter Order across Great Xia, ordering the extermination of all martial artists and offering rewards for their heads. This marked a sharp reversal from its formerly lenient treatment of martial artists. 171

The order was connected to the palace's succession crisis: Yu God Palace's Nascent Soul ancestor was nearing death, while its Golden Core True Persons were expected to contend for the position of True Lord. 171

Conflict with the Four Great Sects

Yu God Palace intervened directly when Zhao Wuji attempted to condense a Martial Dao Golden Body. Five Cauldron Holders deployed their Yu Emperor Cauldrons in a combined strike to kill him during his breakthrough. 177 178

The Four Great Sects—Ten Thousand Bones Sect, Taixuan Sect, Xuanji Hall, and Wusheng Pavilion—joined forces to protect Zhao Wuji. Their defensive formation withstood the cauldrons until an outside True Lord forced the Cauldron Holders to withdraw, allowing Zhao Wuji to complete his breakthrough. 178 179

Yu God Palace subsequently used the Ascension Assembly to gather talented cultivators from across Cangnan. The participating geniuses were secretly used as bait to draw out the Thunder Spirit within Thunder Plateau, which Yu Qing intended to refine for his own advancement. 180 191

Decline and Destruction

True Lord Cangming annihilated the Four Great Sects with the River Painting Scroll and its Law River, expending the last of his strength in the process. 193

After Cangming's death, rival sects formed the Alliance of Immortals to overthrow Yu God Palace and redistribute the Immortal Dao Luck it monopolized. 205 206

Yu Qing's death in the Return Ruins dealt a severe blow to the palace's leadership and its Yu Emperor Cauldron network. 257

Yu God Palace's remaining experts were pursued by the Alliance of Immortals and intercepted by Golden Core Great Perfection cultivators of the Qiankun Holy Sect. Few of the palace's Return Ruins expedition escaped; only two of its five Cauldron Holders reportedly returned. The Alliance of Immortals and Qiankun Holy Sect destroyed Yu God Palace soon afterward. 258 260
