Super Expert

Falan Continent was not the name of a continent, but the general name for this world. In truth, Falan Continent's total area was astonishingly vast. The large landmasses alone were split into east and west, called the Eastern Continent and the Western Continent, and beyond these two main continents, it was said there were other lands or islands as well, though they were much smaller, and those who lived there were not ordinary humans, but some of the more powerful races of the continent. For example, Dragon Island was home to the terrifyingly powerful race of giant dragons.

The Eastern Continent and Western Continent were separated by an inland sea. Perhaps because of their inherited systems, the faiths of the two continents were completely different as well. On the Western Continent existed a power that stood above imperial authority, and that was The Church of Light, ruled by divine authority.

It could be said that on the Western Continent, although the three nations still remained independent in form, the ones who truly held real power were the people of The Church of Light. Moreover, because The Church of Light had a long inheritance, its strength was extremely formidable, and the number of its powerful experts ranked first across the entire Falan Continent.

On the Eastern Continent, however, it was exactly the opposite. Imperial authority was the true ruler, and because of their inheritance, the four nations of the Eastern Continent were all extremely hostile toward The Church of Light. So although The Church was powerful, it could not truly enter the Eastern Continent.

On one hand, this was because of the resistance of imperial authority on the Eastern Continent. On the other, it was also because there existed on the Eastern Continent a very powerful, yet extremely secretive church—the Fire Worship Sect.

The relationship between the Fire Worship Sect and the nations of the Eastern Continent was very delicate. Basically, every nation on the Eastern Continent had experts from the Fire Worship Sect within it, and they were greatly respected by the emperors, but the two sides were mutually independent, mutually exploiting one another.

The nations paid money to provide the Fire Worship Sect with certain necessary living supplies, while what the Fire Worship Sect offered in return was a group of powerful experts who helped the nations of the Eastern Continent resist the invasion of The Church from the Western Continent.

And that white-armored warrior, Colin, was a Knight of Light from The Church of the Western Continent, while the black-armored warrior Karns was a grand master dispatched by the Fire Worship Sect of the Eastern Continent to the Saint Mavana Empire.

Whether Knight of Light or grand master, there were not many of them across Falan Continent. However, every single one was quite formidable, because anyone who could obtain such a title was without exception an existence at the very peak of the high ranks—a level-nine super expert.

These pieces of information flashed rapidly through Liu Feng's mind, and he could not help sucking in a breath of cold air. No wonder the force of these two fellows fighting with everything they had was so astonishing. So they were not high-ranked warriors as he had initially thought, but existences at the absolute peak of the high ranks.

But after hearing Cookson call out both their names and identities, the two of them, as if by prior agreement, stopped after clashing head-on once with neither gaining the upper hand. Colin even said with a somewhat teasing laugh, "Someone recognized the two of us. Should we change places?" As he spoke, a cold gleam flashed through his eyes.

Karns turned his head coldly and glanced toward Liu Feng's side, then said flatly to Colin, "Don't think I don't know what you're planning. I'm telling you, this is still the Palister Family's territory. Fighting is one thing, but the consequences of killing people at random aren't something you can bear!"

At this point, a faint trace of fear suddenly flashed through Karns's eyes, and then he said coldly, "Others might not know, but don't you forget: although the Palister Family has already declined, there is still an old monster alive in this world. If you don't want to die that ugly a death, you'd best not get any crooked ideas!"

Karns was very familiar with Colin's character. This fellow clearly belonged to the type who was benevolent-faced but black-hearted. Though his mouth suggested changing places, in truth he had already developed killing intent toward Liu Feng and the others.

Hearing Karns's words, Colin's expression changed slightly. "Why bring up that old monster for no reason? Fine, fine. In any case, it'll still be a while before there's news about the Treasure of the Creation God, so there's no meaning in the two of us fighting now. But if you're so idle you're bored, I can help loosen your muscles and bones. Follow me!" As he spoke, Colin let out a strange laugh, and his body swiftly transformed into a streak of white light, sweeping off into the distance.

Watching Colin's figure, Karns gave a disdainful angry snort, then also brought up a sheet of black radiance and rapidly chased after him, vanishing from everyone's sight in an instant.

Just now, because they had discovered the presence of other people, Colin and Karns had controlled what they said within a certain range, so Liu Feng and the others had not heard a thing.
