Background / History
Turner was bought from a slave market by Count Derek several years before Liu Feng's arrival in Nicholas Palister's body. He became Nicholas's only attendant and remained the sole person in the Count's Mansion who consistently treated the supposedly crippled young master with respect. He brings Nicholas food, worries over his health, and guards his room during cultivation without demanding explanations. 2 3
Derek secretly taught Turner martial skills and oversaw the awakening of his Barbarian bloodline. Turner himself does not realize the extent of his strength and believes he should not use his full power in combat because his teacher instructed him otherwise. 9 12
When Liu Feng leaves the Count's Mansion for York County, Turner accompanies him alongside Cookson and Box. He continues to serve as Liu Feng's trusted guard and later assists with the Gold-Quenching Stone business at the Palister ancestral estate. 9 26 37 41
Before Liu Feng departs alone for the Western Continent, Turner agrees to lead the children processing Gold-Quenching Stones and manage the operation with Catherine's assistance. He is visibly reluctant to see his master leave. 41
Appearance
Turner is a towering, heavily built Barbarian with messy black hair and dark eyes. His size and strength are repeatedly emphasized, and his usual harmless expression contrasts sharply with his violent combat aura.
- Burly, towering physique. 5 10
- Messy black hair. 5 10
- Carries an oversized wolf-tooth club weighing over two hundred jin with ease. 11
- His eyes turn blood-red and his body emits killing intent when insulted as a “mongrel.” 8
Personality
Turner is simple-minded, honest, stubborn, and deeply loyal to Liu Feng. He is concerned with his master's basic wellbeing, persistently urging him to eat and guarding him during long periods of isolated cultivation. 2 3
He is not reckless where Liu Feng's safety is concerned. Although racial insults enrage him, he restrains himself against powerful nobles because he fears bringing danger to his master. 11 In battle, however, his restrained nature gives way to a berserk, beast-like ferocity. 8 12
