Adam Had Arrived
"Was what you said just now true?" Christiana asked hesitantly.
"What?" Diya answered casually, looking at the fine raindrops beyond the balcony, smelling the faint, delicate fragrance drifting from the white robe. It refreshed the heart and delighted the mind, as if it still carried Christiana's own scent.
"That... that not wearing... not wearing under... under..." Christiana just could not get the words out.
"Underwear, right?" Diya said it easily, his expression not changing. "What do you think?"
"Ah... I... I..." Christiana's head went a little dizzy. Wasn't this student supposed to be especially withdrawn? But from the look of him, he did not seem quite the same as the rumors. How could she know that Diya had now successfully transformed his body and could step onto the road of the strong? Naturally, his mood was excellent.
"Of course I'm wearing it. I'm not an exhibitionist," Diya said with an easy smile. It seemed he had not acted this freely in a very long time. It really did feel good, but he knew when to stop.
"That's good," Christiana breathed out and sighed softly.
"Speaking of which, do you have a younger sister?"
"No..." ...
The torrential rain kept falling without end. After noon had passed, it still had not stopped, and there was not the slightest sign of it weakening. Diya could only continue staying in Christiana's little pavilion.
Naturally, lunch was eaten here as well. It was just that Christiana's cooking skills were truly too tragic to bear looking at. Diya forced himself to swallow it down, while Christiana herself ended up retching nonstop. In the end, not only did she fail to eat her fill, her stomach was empty instead, and it kept letting out bursts of rumbling.
Diya was completely speechless. Even toasting bread, she had somehow managed to turn it into bread charcoal.
"Gurgle."
Christiana's face grew even redder. She lowered her head and did not dare look at Diya at all. Right now, her stomach was suffering the torment of hunger.
"Mentor, is there anything else?" Diya asked helplessly. Watching such a great beauty endure hunger right in front of him was really something he could not let pass.
"There are still a few pieces of Pig-Beast meat in the kitchen downstairs. I originally wanted to roast meat, but..." Christiana's voice grew smaller and smaller as she spoke, as if she herself had also realized that her cooking skills really were...
"Wait here a moment." Diya went downstairs on his own and entered the kitchen. The equipment in this pavilion was really quite good; there was actually a Magic Ice Platform placed here, just like a freezer from his previous life, except its power source was magic, and it was worth quite a lot.
Opening the ice platform, Diya found the so-called meat. There were indeed still a few pieces, but they had been frozen rather hard—
"Diablo, I'll leave it to you."
"No problem. After she eats some good roasted meat, you'd better push her down. Don't disappoint me," Diablo said, while releasing a wisp of Hellfire. It swept over the edge of the roasted meat, and at once, the meat softened, the solid ice completely melting away without harming the meat in the slightest. This kind of control really was incomparably formidable.
"All right, let Radish out. He's quieter," Diya said, then ignored Diablo. The kitchen utensils here were quite complete. Diya finished preparing the meat slices, cutting them into pieces as thin as paper, then started a fire and began roasting them. Before long, after sprinkling on some simple seasonings, a plate of roasted meat that made people drool just from smelling it appeared before Christiana.
"Gurgle..."
"Eat," Diya said, then turned around. Beauties were relatively concerned about face, so Diya did not plan to stare at her. Christiana secretly glanced at him and found that Diya had no intention of paying attention to this side at all. She hurriedly used a fork to pick up a slice of meat and began eating. Slice after slice, Christiana showed no intention of stopping.
On one hand, this was because Diya had cut the meat extremely thin, only a layer like thin paper. On the other, the roasted meat really did taste very good, especially under the circumstances of extreme hunger. Before long, Christiana had wiped out the whole plate of roasted meat, and she even licked her lips, still not fully satisfied.
"Are you full? If it isn't enough, there are still some pieces of meat in the kitchen," Diya asked with a smile, making Christiana's face flush bright red. "I'm full. Um, sorry, I ate it all. I've never had such delicious roasted meat before."
"Heh." Diya smiled, but said nothing. His cooking skills were no empty boast. In his previous life, he had been a homebody and rarely went out, so naturally he had to solve the problem of meals himself. Even if he had not known how before, he had to learn, and after a few years, his cooking skills had basically become quite good.
And after transmigrating, he would still show his hand from time to time, making something tasty now and then. Although most of the time it was Uncle Fu who did the work, because of Diablo, who had lived on Earth for fifteen years and had seen many things, every single thing he "saw" would be memorized by him, just like being stored on a hard drive. So the current Diablo was like an encyclopedia, with all kinds of cooking skills in him, more than enough for Diya to present as treasures. If the ingredients in this world were not completely different from Earth's, Diya could have made even more delicious roasted meat.
"Student Diya, let's chat," Christiana said, rising and walking over to sit beside Diya. Diya immediately smelled an even richer, delicate fragrance continuously drilling into his nostrils, and could not help taking a breath. "Mentor, is this your body scent?"
"Ah." Christiana had not expected Diya's reply to be this. It was indeed her body scent, but having it said aloud like this still made her feel extremely shy. For a moment, she did not know what to say. Diya also did not know why he had suddenly become so fond of teasing this beautiful teacher. Was it because of Diablo's influence, or was he truly a silent pervert?
"Mentor, what do you want to talk about?" Diya did not let Christiana feel too awkward and took the initiative to ask. Diablo, meanwhile, kept shouting in his head to push her down, push her down, force-push her, madly push her, wildly push her. Diya directly ignored him.
"Let's talk about you. Everything I know about you was heard from Mentor Pig and the students, but looking at you now, you seem a little different from what they said," Christiana said after calming down.
"Me? There isn't anything about me worth talking about. What others say is their business. What I do is my business. That's all," Diya answered.
The heavy rain poured down as if it had no intention of stopping. The water level of the lake had risen by a large stretch, and in the rainstorm, ring after ring of ripples and waves kept splashing across it. Amid the howling gale, the branches and leaves of the trees were blown until they rustled and cracked.
Looking at the time, it was already evening, yet Diya still could not leave.
"Student Diya, your ideas really are unique," Christiana said with a smile. As she casually chatted with Diya, she discovered that if she did not pay attention to the appearance and age of the youth before her, and judged only from the conversation, it was as if she were facing a mature man. The wisdom and charm between his words were things she had never seen before. In the past, among those who pursued her, there had been no lack of princes, nobles, and the like, each one so outstanding, yet not a single one had spoken like this. It was so novel, so profound.
Christiana discovered that she seemed to have fallen in love with this feeling, where she could speak freely and express her own thoughts. Though in her heart she felt that this was a dangerous attempt, it kept tempting her like a devil, urging her to take the risk.
Women, especially many women who were usually law-abiding, conservative, and traditional in their thinking, all longed for stimulation and adventure in the deepest parts of their hearts. Those ideas and actions different from the education they had received, those rebellious, scripture-defying and doctrine-betraying thoughts and deeds, would deeply attract them. This was why women did not love men who were not a little bad.
If one had to categorize him, Diya was a bad man, or perhaps a bad boy. He seemed out of place with this world. Some of his thoughts shocked Christiana, yet deeply attracted her, making her want, like a moth flying into the flame, to know more and understand more deeply, unable to stop herself from sinking into it.
And Diya also knew that Christiana looked like the kind of woman with the reserved beauty of a traditional Eastern female, yet her heart longed for excitement, only to be tightly bound by her own reason. She was merely waiting for someone to untie that taboo, and then she would go mad along with it. From the look of her, Christiana was the kind of lovely person who was quiet and graceful, occasionally a little muddleheaded, and lacking in social experience. She could indeed serve as an excellent confidante.
However, Diya currently had no intention of getting too entangled. Perhaps if fate allowed it in the future, they would see. The rainstorm continued for the entire night, and Diya had no way to leave the pavilion. In the end, he could only spend the night there. Christiana naturally slept on the second floor, while Diya rested on the first floor.
There were no words through the night. Christiana tossed and turned in bed, finding it hard to fall asleep. Today's contact had left her heart unable to calm for a long time, and the curiosity she felt toward Diya grew ever stronger. Perhaps she still did not know that becoming curious about a man was the beginning of trapping herself. By the time she realized it, it would already be too late.
Compared to Christiana, Diya had a good sleep. Casually chatting with a beauty, occasionally teasing her with a few words, watching her face fill with shyness, with the wild wind and rainstorm outside accompanying them—his heart was actually incomparably at ease. That feeling of tranquility made Diya feel incredibly comfortable.
At daybreak, the rainstorm had already stopped. Outside, the ground was covered everywhere in standing water, and the damp, heavy earth gave off a trace of chill. Diya bid farewell to Christiana. Having not returned all night, he did not know how Uncle Fu was doing, or whether he had worried the whole night. Carrying guilt, Diya returned home.
He had just stepped through the door when he saw Uncle Fu sitting happily in a chair, while on another chair sat a young man, his face full of smiles as he chatted with Uncle Fu. When Diya entered the courtyard, he turned his head to look, while Uncle Fu stood up in extreme excitement and said to Diya, who was walking in, "Young Master, this is my son—Adam."
