Grey Wolf emerged during Feng Xiaoyuan’s martial-soul awakening as a sentient, upright-walking wolf rather than a conventional beast martial soul. He immediately proclaimed himself the “greatest inventor of Green Green Grasslands” and referred to himself as King Grey Wolf. The Feng Clan considered him an externalized martial soul because of his ability to exist outside Feng Xiaoyuan’s body and act independently. 1

Following the awakening, Grey Wolf began adapting his technology to the soul-power laws of Douluo Continent. His early experiments were unreliable and frequently exploded, but they produced the Soul Power Pistol and Soul Power Grenade—experimental weapons that gave Feng Xiaoyuan combat power far beyond his rank. 2 4
