Background

Mo Chen taught Soul Tool crafting at a secret research site, where the other researchers addressed him as “Teacher.” He initially presented himself simply as a Soul Engineer who instructed students and resolved technical problems. After meeting Feng Xiaoyuan and Grey Wolf, he invited them to remain at the site as his students and provided Feng with his personally compiled Level One to Eight Soul Tool Manufacturing Manual. 114

He spent a month establishing Feng Xiaoyuan and Grey Wolf's foundation in core formations, energy storage, energy conduction, Soul Power circuits, attribute conversion, mental-power control, materials, and Soul Tool stability. Rather than rushing their progress, Mo Chen emphasized that a solid foundation was essential before advancing to higher-level crafting. 114
