Dodoria is sent flying with one punch but remains unharmed. This pink-skinned toad is more ruthless than me.

"Dodoria!"

Gou Kong's heart lurched. In a flash, he moved to block the path in front of the two of them.

He no longer suppressed his aura. His terrifying battle power of 19,000 erupted without reservation, and the violent blast of air instantly sent the loose stones by his feet flying. Even the ground trembled with it.

"Beep beep beep beep—!"

An ear-piercing alarm exploded between the two of them. At a distance of no more than three meters, the scouter over Dodoria's left eye jumped wildly, the red "19000" almost spilling out of the lens.

The pink-skinned toad watched the constantly rising number with interest, but the mockery on his face instantly turned to shock.

"19,000? What the hell? Since when did Saiyans have battle power this high? Stronger than that old bastard King Vegeta? Didn't they say the king was the strongest among the Saiyans?"

"19,000... Is this the damn trump card you've been hiding for years?"

Bardock sucked in a breath and looked at Gou Kong with eyes full of disbelief.

Gine also covered her mouth, unable to speak for a long while. She had known Gou Kong for so long, but she had never seen him reveal such terrifying strength.

Gou Kong scratched the back of his head, looking helpless. "An accident. Purely an accident. Who would've thought the battle suit could press the power button open?"

"Hahaha!" Dodoria let out a vicious laugh, his face full of contempt. "You sneaky coward! No wonder King Vegeta drove you out of the palace. So he was afraid you'd take his position!"

Gou Kong was amused by that. A cold smile tugged at the corner of his mouth, but his gaze stayed locked firmly on Dodoria.

The one before him was a famous thug in the Frieza Force, and his strength was only higher than Gou Kong's, not lower.

There was no need to look at the scouter's number. Just by sensing the energy radiating from the other party, Gou Kong knew very well that his odds of winning were extremely low.

Even if he activated the Energy Body-Forging Technique to strengthen his flesh, he had no confidence he could win.

The moment he let down his guard, all three of them would die here.

"Listen. You two go back to the city right now and tell King Vegeta what happened here," Gou Kong said in a low voice to the two behind him without turning his head. "I'll buy you time. Don't let this pink-skinned toad catch up to you!"

"What? Are you insane? You're going to fight him alone? Do you know how terrifying Dodoria's battle power is?" Gine was so anxious that tears came out. She grabbed Gou Kong's battle suit and shouted.

"That's right, Mr. Gou Kong! It's too reckless for you to fight alone!" Bardock also spoke in a deep voice, his tone full of urgency.

"I know it's dangerous! That's why I'm telling you to leave!" Gou Kong cut them off impatiently, his tone hard. "Don't drag me down here! I don't have the strength to protect you while fighting this beast!"

Bardock's face turned livid, and his fists clenched until they creaked. He had clearly been angered by Gou Kong's words, but more than that, he felt unwilling.

He understood their current situation. If he stayed, he would only be a burden and would not be able to help in the slightest.

Gou Kong knew it perfectly well.

Dodoria clutched his abdomen as he landed, retreating more than ten meters before he steadied himself, his face full of disbelief.

In that split second, he had actually raised his arm and blocked that seemingly certain punch!

At this moment, both his arms were numb, and a trace of blood seeped from the corner of his mouth, but overall, his injuries were extremely light. Clearly, he had not suffered any serious damage.

Gou Kong's pupils abruptly constricted, and his heart instantly sank halfway.

Gou Kong's scalp went numb. He could no longer care about anything else. In a flash, he rushed in front of Bardock and Gine, who still had not reacted, and roared at the top of his lungs:

"Run!"

Just as that purple energy cannon, wrapped in an aura of destruction, was about to strike Bardock and Gine, Gou Kong slammed his right foot into the ground. His figure flashed like a ghost in front of Dodoria, and he raised his leg, kicking hard into the arm holding the blast!

The energy cannon's trajectory was forcibly knocked off course, and the thick purple beam grazed past the tips of Gou Kong's hair. The searing heat instantly scorched the black hair over his forehead into curled, yellowed strands, and severed locks scattered through the gale.

"You insolent mongrel!"

Dodoria was both shocked and furious. His other fist came smashing toward Gou Kong's face with a shriek of displaced air.

Gou Kong neither dodged nor retreated. He raised his arm and blocked it head-on. With a dull thud, a terrifying recoil shot through the bones of his arm and spread across his entire body, the pain making his brows knit tightly.

Before his opponent could pull back, Gou Kong's knee shot up and slammed viciously into Dodoria's jaw!

Bang!

The blow carried tremendous force, snapping Dodoria's head backward. But before Gou Kong could breathe a sigh of relief, the other man's fist arrived a beat later yet struck first, hammering hard into his abdomen!

"Cough—!"

Pain drove Gou Kong's vision black. It felt as if all his organs had been knocked out of place, and his waist and belly hunched over beyond his control.

But his mind was perfectly clear. He knew he absolutely couldn't retreat now. Otherwise, Bardock and his wife behind him would die without question!

Using the force of his opponent's punch, he rolled backward with the momentum to disperse the impact. When he landed, both feet stamped hard into the ground, forcibly halting his retreat. He crashed into Dodoria, who had just regained his footing, and sent him sliding back several meters again. Dodoria's back smashed into the solid rock stratum with a boom, sending shattered stones spraying into the sky.

"Mr. Gou Kong!"

"Are you all right?"

Gine looked at Gou Kong's pale face, so anxious that tears welled in her eyes.

Bardock also clenched his fists, his expression grave.
