Karnier and Buds (1)

A strange light flickered in Future Trunks's eyes. He reached out and waved a hand in front of Buds, speaking in an annoyed tone. "Hey, Buds, are you okay? That expression of yours looks pathetic."

"Tch, none of your business. Hurry up and leave. Stop bothering me here!" Buds curled his lip and turned his head aside, a flash of irritation passing through his clear amber-like eyes.

"Buds, watch your attitude, okay? This isn't our timeline. You'd better rein in that bad temper of yours."

At that, Buds shot Future Trunks a fierce glare, rose to his feet, and snorted coldly. "I don't need you teaching me that. Cut the crap and take me to my father."

"Is that how you treat your benefactor? Buds, don't forget who brought you here. You little brat!"

Future Trunks felt helpless. He truly had no idea what deep grudge he and Buds might have had in a past life. Whenever the two of them were left alone together, they would start arguing within minutes.

Future Trunks knew this was bad, but whenever he heard Buds's disdainful tone and saw that uniquely irritating expression of his, a thread of anger would inexplicably rise in his heart.

Even when he tried to control it, he couldn't.

Buds raised his head and stared hard at Future Trunks. Biting his lip, he said each word distinctly, "Please—take—me—to—find—my—father, okay? Future Trunks, big brother!!!" The final two words, "big brother," were practically roared through clenched teeth.

He swore that if he weren't trying to see his biological father, he would never submit to Future Trunks's "tyranny," even if it killed him.

Buds had actually wanted to search for Kashius on his own, but he found the environment here utterly unfamiliar. Searching aimlessly for someone would be as difficult as
