The battle between Kashius and Liu Ge was so immense that it nearly affected all of West City. Had the two of them not begun restraining their strength and preventing their energy from spilling out directly, the newly rebuilt West City would likely have suffered another disaster of destruction.
West City, atop a certain building.
"What do we do? A battle at this level is completely beyond our ability to interfere with." Zack frowned, clearly displeased. Kashius's strength had dealt a harsh blow to his eagerness to earn merit.
If he overestimated himself, then Nicholas from the "past" was the best example. Though Zack was arrogant, he still knew he was inferior to Nicholas. If he rashly entered the battlefield, even the aftershocks alone might erase him entirely.
"Just wait. The situation before us has already greatly exceeded our expectations." Reno looked solemn, his silver eyes fixed upon the sky.
"Waiting around isn't a solution either. Are we destined to have wasted our efforts this time, only able to cheer Liu Ge on?
I'm not willing! I'm not willing!!!"
"Then what do you suggest? Going out there to die?
Salam, don't forget—Lord Nicholas, who was more than ten times stronger than you, couldn't even last one second against Kashius.
"Glaring at Salam behind him, who was unwilling to remain ordinary and itching for action, Reno snapped, "If you want to go out there and get yourself killed, I won't stop you!"
"Reno, you bastard!" Salam's expression darkened as he glared at Reno, repeatedly clenching and unclenching his fists.
Seeing that things were taking a bad turn, Zack hurriedly stepped between them. "You two, stop getting worked up. We may not be able to interfere in Lord Liu Ge's battle, but don't forget that Kashius's bloodline is still on this Earth."
