As time passed, contestants from various universes began falling from the arena one after another—excluding, of course, all the contestants from Universe 9 who had been erased.

Son Gohan, Krillin, and the others had formed a circular back-to-back formation as they continuously dealt with approaching enemies. It seemed they had already been regarded as weaklings.
