Background / History

Ron is first seen sharing a Hogwarts Express compartment with Harry Potter. Draco Malfoy's disparaging remark about the Weasleys leaves Ron red-faced; Skylar Malfoy apologizes for Draco, but the encounter still creates a poor first impression between the groups. 27

Following the Halloween incident, Ron, Harry, and Hermione become close friends. Ron remains distrustful of Skylar and the Slytherins, believing Skylar had used Hermione during the Troll incident to gain attention and House points. 33
