Yu Changge hunted for strength in the Star Dou Forest and Slaughter City, earning Divine Slaughter's Domain and the attention of the Asura God. The arc ended with Yu Changge accepting the Asura God's Nine Trials as Spirit Hall prepared an expedition to Sea God Island.

• Yu Changge killed the Holy Light Crystal-Tailed Scorpion Dragon, absorbed its Soul Ring, and left the Star Dou Forest with Qian Daoliu after Qian Daoliu faced Bear Lord and Di Tian.
• Qian Daoliu escorted Yu Changge to Slaughter City, where Yu Changge entered the Hell Slaughter Arena while Bibi Dong began training in Death Canyon.
• Yu Changge won one hundred arena matches and survived Hell Road, defeating the Dark Gold Three-Headed Bat King and Ten Headed Fierce Yang Serpent to earn Divine Slaughter's Domain.

Yu Changge returned to Spirit Hall, revealed the powers he gained in Slaughter City, and helped prepare an expedition to Sea God Island. After Bibi Dong awakened the Vast Sea Cosmic Shroud and Yu Changge formed a Soul Core, the expedition set out and stopped to deal with Wolf Bandits.

• Yu Changge returned to Spirit Hall, reunited with his family and Bibi Dong, and told them about his Asura God trial and Radiant Dragon King Martial Soul.
• Yu Changge gave Yu Ming the Ten Headed Fierce Yang Serpent’s Inner Pellet, and Yu Tianqing used the Dragon Core to form a hundred-thousand-year Soul Ring and reach Rank Ninety-Two.
• Yu Changge revealed his new Soul Skills and Silver-grade Second Awakening, then sparred with Qian Xunji and told Bibi Dong that the Sea God’s inheritance might be hers.

Yu Changge and the expedition reached Sea God Island, where its trials set the group competing for divine rewards while Yu Changge continued his Asura inheritance. After months of training and Yu Xiaogang’s bizarre trial, Yu Changge accepted a God-Bestowed Soul Ring from Bo Saixi.

• Yu Changge and his companions killed the Wolf Bandits, rescued the villagers’ bodies, and set out for Sea God Island as the Asura God arranged trials there with the Sea God.
• The expedition fought the Demon Soul Great White Sharks until Bo Saixi intervened, then entered Sea God Island after Qian Daoliu and Bo Saixi battled.
• The group crossed the sea-beast trial and received their assessments, with Bibi Dong granted the Sea God Nine Trials, Tang Chen the Red-Rank Eight Trials, and Yu Changge identified as an inheritor of another god.
• The participants learned their first trial requirements, including Qian Xunji’s need to have a child and Yu Xiaogang’s breath-holding test, which he initially failed.
• At Sea God Mountain, Yu Changge began his second Asura Trial on the Slaughter Staircase while Bibi Dong and the others trained under Sea God’s Light.
• Tang Chen challenged Bo Saixi and fought her with his Clear Sky Hammer, but she used the sea’s power to withstand his strongest attack and judged him weaker than Qian Daoliu.

Yu Changge and Bibi Dong advanced through their divine trials on Sea God Island while strengthening their abilities and gathering allies. Yu Changge killed the Evil Orca King, reached Rank Ninety, and received a new Asura trial as the Seven Treasure Glazed Tile Sect fleet arrived under attack.

• Tang Chen helped Tang Hao obtain a Soul Ring and Spirit Bone, while Yu Changge absorbed a God-Bestowed Soul Ring that became a Hundred-Thousand-Year Soul Ring.
• Yu Changge and Bibi Dong completed the Slaughter Staircase trials, evolving Yu Changge’s Divine Slaughter's Domain and earning divine affinity.
• Bibi Dong absorbed new Soul Rings and Spirit Bones, while Tang Xiao and Tang Hao began their Ring Sea trials.
