Background / History

Xie Xie was a member of Eastsea Academy's first-year Zero Class alongside Tang Wulin and Gu Yue. After Li Moxun joined the class, Xie Xie participated in practical-combat training against Wu Zhangkong and later ate with the reduced four-person class group following Wang Jinxi and Zhang Yangzi's departure. 6 9

Following Li Moxun's four-month absence, Xie Xie displayed open hostility toward him alongside Tang Wulin. He and Tang Wulin initially tried to challenge Li Moxun in a two-on-one duel, but Li Moxun's third-ring strength forced Wu Zhangkong to expand the fight to four against one. 30 31

Personality

Xie Xie is confident in his own fighting ability, a trait Wu Zhangkong identified as a weakness shared with Tang Wulin. 13 He is direct in expressing dislike, particularly toward Li Moxun, but does not ignore obvious unfairness: when Shrek Academy students blamed Li Moxun for severely injuring Ye Xinglan in a duel she initiated, Xie Xie openly defended him. 54 55

He can also make tactical decisions under pressure. During the four-on-one training match against Li Moxun, he immediately withdrew when Wu Zhangkong ordered Gu Yue and Xu Xiaoyan into the battle, narrowly avoiding Li Moxun's incoming strike. 31
