Background / History

Gu Yue spends time in Shrek City observing human life with curiosity. Though she regards humans as weak, their busy and lively way of living fascinates her. 14

Di Tian reports that Gu Yue's sister, Na'er, has been located in Aolai City after Xiong Jun rescued her from an attempted abduction. Gu Yue orders him to bring Na'er back, authorizing any condition necessary if Na'er refuses. 14

Di Tian also locates Tang Wulin, a human carrying the Golden Dragon King bloodline, in Aolai City. Gu Yue believes merging with this bloodline would allow her to recreate the Dragon God bloodline, become invincible on the continent in the absence of the Divine Realm, and lead the soul beasts to resurgence. Rather than seize Tang Wulin immediately, she orders surveillance. 14

After joining the Spirit Transmission Pagoda, Gu Yue receives Black-Rank Spirit Envoy clearance from Leng Yaozhu. 30
