Background
The Spirit Transmission Hall is a special organization within the Spirit Transmission Pagoda and its counterpart to the Tang Sect's Soul Fighting Hall. Its members undertake the Pagoda's dangerous assignments, particularly security missions in regions facing hidden crises. Joining it carries an expectation of facing life-or-death danger in service of continental peace. 27 28 31
Leng Yaozhu presents the Hall as a path traditionally taken by the Spirit Transmission Pagoda's elite rather than an institution reserved for disposable personnel. Members who reach the required age and cultivation are dispatched throughout Douluo Continent to resolve security threats. 27 28
Operations
Security Missions
The Hall assigns members to investigate and resolve threats across the continent.
- Missions may involve disappearances, natural-disaster aftermath, Evil Soul Marks, or Evil Soul Master activity. 37 41
- Members are dispatched after reaching nine years old and obtaining sufficient cultivation. 28
- The Riot Spirit Ascension Platform serves as final combat-and-survival training before deployment. 31
- Assignments can be severely more dangerous than their listed rating suggests; Gu You's one-star patrol becomes a confrontation with multiple Evil Soul Masters inside a sealed small world. 41 46
Mission Ratings and Rewards
| Star Rating | Documented Reward / Requirement | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| One-star | Minimum 100 Spirit Transmission Points | Gu You's completed Eastern Sea assignment awards 100 points. 41 |
| Two-star | Reward increases tenfold from the previous rating | Gu You assesses that such missions require at least Soul King-level strength to barely complete. 41 |
| Five-star | Highest rating; rewards scale by ten for each additional star | Only two have appeared in the past ten thousand years; they signify a continent-threatening crisis and usually attract other factions and Federation intervention. 41 |
- Spirit Transmission Points can be exchanged for high-value resources, including a possible hundred-thousand-year spirit soul or soul bone. 28
- The Hall's Spirit Transmission System is linked throughout the Pagoda network and can provide tasks to communicators with Hall authorization. 41
- Task completion is evaluated by the system, including completion rate and point rewards. 41

Story Role

- Gu You agrees to join after learning that mission rewards can be exchanged for hundred-thousand-year soul spirits and soul bones. 28
- Following three years of cultivation, Gu You undergoes his final Riot Spirit Ascension Platform training before deployment. 31
- The Hall formally approves his membership and issues his first assignment: investigate disappearances in Bianhai Village after a typhoon. 35 37
- Gu You completes the Eastern Sea mission at a 100% rate, receives 100 Spirit Transmission Points, and is registered by the system as a Bronze Spirit Envoy. 41
- He immediately accepts another one-star assignment in Shrek City's outer district to patrol and investigate Evil Soul Marks. The operation escalates into a dangerous incident involving Evil Soul Masters and a hidden small world. 41 46 47
