In a three-story building, several black-clad figures huddled in the shadows of a dark room. They were terrified that the fiend would notice them watching and send a spear flying over to knock their heads from their shoulders.

"Hm? Something's wrong. He hasn't left. He's heading back to the Brightlight Courtyard. What's he planning?"
Wind whistled past Hong Yuan's ears. The cold gusts whipped his robes, sending torn strips of cloth fluttering in every direction.
Hong Yuan frowned, then simply reached up and ripped off his robe, baring his upper body.
The lines of his muscles had grown smoother and more perfect. Every part of him looked cast from bronze and forged from iron, neither bulky nor swollen, yet brimming with explosive strength.
Wearing only a pair of fitted trousers, Hong Yuan flashed across the rooftops, leaped down, and strode toward the Brightlight Courtyard.
For all that fighting, he had only killed or wounded two or three hundred men. Even after those who had fled, at least a thousand soldiers remained in the courtyard. Why wouldn't he take them for himself?
