Two Nascent Soul Feasts

The procedures for a Nascent Soul banquet were all much the same: first came the feast, then the exposition of the Dao and transmission of teachings.

Only, the level and lavishness of the banquet prepared by the Yang Family far surpassed both the Xie Family's banquet and Long True Lord's Nascent Soul banquet.

Yet the true highlight of the Nascent Soul banquet lay in the Dao exposition and transmission of teachings that followed.

When the feast ended, Yang Xiue, the Yang Family's newly advanced Nascent Soul True Lord, stepped onto the platform and began demonstrating the Dao, expounding her own Great Dao.

She formed seals with her hands. A dragon's roar rang out, and rippling watery light emerged around her. From within it, the phantom of a thousand-zhang black dragon surged forth, circling about her.
