The two sides had clashed in these waters for decades, endlessly fighting over control of island after island and their surrounding seas.
But overall, after decades of warfare, the Immortal Dynasty–East Sea alliance had gained a decisive upper hand, occupying over seventy percent of the islands and waters in the island chain region. The Demon Country's Demon Race could only hold on to the remaining less than thirty percent.
After the alliance formed by Liang Zhaohuang, the Yang Family, the Xie Family, the Dharma Aspect Sect, and others moved south to join the cleansing of the Demon Country's Demon Race forces in the Pearl Island Chain sea region, the stalemate that had lasted for years utterly collapsed.

Liang Zhaohuang rode aboard a warship, with twelve sea vessels surrounding it. They sailed through the Pearl Island Chain sea region, relentlessly pursuing the retreating Demon Race. From time to time, they would launch sudden attacks, tearing great chunks of flesh from the withdrawing demon forces.
