Background / History

The Federation emerged after an earlier period in which multiple empires existed side by side. Its development is recorded in the book Federation History, which Lin Yuan reads 41.

By Lin Yuan’s childhood, it operates across multiple planets and possesses interstellar fleets, advanced Soul Guidance technology, and Divine Rank cultivators. Its technological strength contrasts with its shortage of high-level divine combatants relative to the Longma Galaxy 139 155 179.

Heaven Planet, also called Sin Planet, initially exists outside direct Federation rule. Shrek elder Yi Zichen admits that its existence is tacitly tolerated, while Wang Tianyu later describes it as the Federation’s “black glove”—a relationship based on tolerance rather than actual control 148 226.

Sin Planet Attacks

Zhan Jing infiltrates Skyscraper Tower’s data center, intending to exploit its connection to the Federation Central Bank and trigger an economic crisis. His attempted databank intrusion finds it empty, and Ye Feng captures him before Eternal Night Monarch’s hostage threat complicates the response 47 48.

A later pirate attack on a Federation spacecraft prompts the highest state of war readiness. Distance prevents immediate fleet assistance: reinforcements would require at least a day and a half, while Shrek Academy deliberately delays its response 101. Believing Zoffy dead, the Federation subsequently grants him the posthumous title of Battle Hero 125.

Heaven Planet’s Incorporation

Lin Yuan’s submission of Heaven Planet gives the Federation a Divine Rank planet, four Divine Rank combatants, and valuable technology without requiring a Federation conquest war. Officials treat the achievement as a historic victory that spared soldiers and Soul Masters from a costly campaign 226.

War with the Longma Galaxy

The Federation initially uses Heaven Planet’s pirate connections to disguise its forces and catch Longma opponents off guard. Heaven Planet’s Divine Rank city lords and Di Tian help compensate for its shortage of powerful combatants 230 236.

Bai Ling’s Source Crystal Plan targets the Void Source Crystals needed for spatial-jump technology. The conflict remains deadlocked for years. Lin Yuan suspects that Longma is deliberately exhausting Federation forces while withholding its strongest combatants 249.

Inauguration Attack

Tianma’s personal invasion draws most combat-ready ships and high-ranking cultivators to the front. The actual objective is Douluo Planet’s Life Core, leaving the fleet unable to return in time 254 258.

During Lin Yuan’s inauguration, the Sky Control King becomes the vessel through which Jiang Weiqiang manifests. The Life Tree weakens, blood-red clouds envelop the planet, and cultivators at Titled Douluo level and above are suppressed 257.

Tianlong keeps the battle broadcast running to destroy civilian morale. Public division disrupts Lin Yuan’s Voice of the Stars power; Lin Yuan eventually resigns as Speaker while executing a sacrificial counterattack involving a Singularity 259 260.

Leadership Crisis and Sky Control Clan Purge

After Lin Yuan’s reported death, the Sky Control Clan invokes its withdrawal right while demanding greater parliamentary influence and control over war policy. Lan Xuanyu kills its envoy and orders Bi Ji and Yutian to purge the clan on Douluo Planet. The ensuing violence provokes protests from Federation citizens 263.
