The man before him was none other than Gao Wang, who had come looking for him outside Third Middle School's gates.

Fang Bai suddenly remembered that Gao Wang really was a student at the Martial Academy.

He was only at First Order Beginner now, so he had probably been admitted this year.
Hearing that nauseating nickname, Gao Wang's face instantly darkened. He snapped, "My name is Gao Wang! What the hell do you mean, balls?!"
He had come over for a meal and unexpectedly spotted a familiar face. Curious, he had approached for a closer look, only to discover that it really was Fang Bai!
"Aren't you at Third Middle School? Why are you at the Martial Academy?"

Qi Tian was shoveling food into his mouth. Seeing the other man shouting and making a scene, he could not help asking Fang Bai.
Fang Bai said flatly, "A classmate's boyfriend. He came looking for trouble with me before."
"What?!"
The moment Qi Tian heard that, he was unhappy.
"What kind of trash dares cause trouble for my brother? What street do you run with?"
Qi Tian eyed Gao Wang unfavorably.
Gao Wang was taken aback. Then his face sank as he said, "And who the hell are you, you prick?"
"Oh ho!"
Qi Tian laughed in anger. "What year are you in?"
Gao Wang said coldly, "First year. I'll be taking the Second Year Assessment next month!"
Qi Tian immediately laughed. He stood up, planted one foot on the stool, and pointed his thumb at himself. "Old Bai, tell him who I am!"
Fang Bai cooperatively said, "Allow me to introduce him. This is the young master of Qi Corporation, a rich young man who gives out gold whenever he sees someone. The Martial Academy's vice principal is his biological second uncle. Oh, and by the way, he's a second-year."
The moment those words came out, Gao Wang's face stiffened.

How was that possible?
Fang Bai pointed at himself with a beaming smile. "We're all second-years. Little jailbird, do you have a problem with that?"

He patted Qi Tian. "Old Qi, tell him who I am."
Qi Tian said with a chuckle, "Old Bai is my brother! He's also our squad captain. Just like me, he's a Dual Element Awakener and a second-year Special Enrollment Student!"
Gao Wang collapsed onto a seat, his face filled with disbelief.
A Xiu silently ate her meal, seemingly uninterested in their affairs.
Xiao Yuan was the same. He seemed never to have eaten food this good before, wolfing down a plateful in no time.
Then he looked at Fang Bai and gave a guileless grin. "Big Brother, I'm still not full."
Fang Bai's mouth twitched, but he was not stingy. "I'll get you another serving."
As he spoke, he glanced at Gao Wang. "Hey, you... Junior Gao. Meeting again is fate. Shouldn't you treat your seniors to a meal?"
"Huh? Me?"
Gao Wang's expression immediately turned ugly.
What kind of joke was this? He had to treat them to a meal? Were they even that close?
But when his eyes met Fang Bai and Qi Tian's sinister gazes, he swallowed and said with difficulty, "Fine. Right away."
With that, he could only scamper off to get food.
A moment later, Gao Wang returned carrying a tray, his face full of misery.

Qi Tian asked curiously, "That cowardly guy—how did he offend you?"

Qi Tian shook his head with a smile.
After finishing their meal, the group returned to their dormitory.
Their dorm rooms were singles, all right next to one another.
Back in his room, Fang Bai took his luggage out of his Space Ring and cleaned up the dorm.
The room was not large. It had only a bed, a desk, and a bathroom.
After taking a quick cold shower, Fang Bai lay down on the bed.
He stared blankly at the ceiling.
His journey into the Martial Academy had truly been full of twists and turns. It had not been easy.
In just these few days, he had witnessed far too much death.
Even though he was a transmigrator, he had never experienced anything like this, not even in his other world.
